What follows is an essay I wrote in preparation for a photography demonstration I gave at a local arts festival. The festival was held on July 9, 2011. All information contained in the article is current as of today (July 11, 2011). With consumer electronics, and perhaps especially with digital cameras, information goes out of date quickly. It’s always good to have a fall-back objective when out to photograph wildlife, just in case the wildlife has other ideas. Covered bridges are predictable in their habits and make excellent alternative subjects. (more…)
